Lewis Dodson has lived in this community for nearly 20 years. He’s a successful small business owner and business consultant. He was an original owner of The Drop in Deli on Folly Beach, Avondale Wine and Cheese and Cannon Distillery. He is a former President of the Folly Association of Businesses. Lewis and his wife Jessica are proud James Island residents where they are raising their young daughter. Lewis is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and a member of James Island Presbyterian Church.

 Lewis Dodson is running for Town Council because he wants to help maintain our beautiful town’s character and keep it livable and affordable. He wants his daughter to be able to raise her family here one day. On Town Council, Lewis will work to:

• Preserve James Island’s natural resources.
• Improve stormwater management.
• Protect individual property rights.
• Defeat poorly planned development projects thatimpact current residents.
• Maintain balance and common sense.
